Dickonet is a committed artist with an experimental and innovative practice.

Throughout her career, through these works she has always dealt with current themes, in particular by tackling themes linked to the security crisis, the condition of women, ecology, our relationship to tradition. She transcribes these social phenomena in a unique personal vision, with poetic sensitivity, in an approach using new image technologies. She often uses her own body as a support in performance videos or photo series, in which she likes to explore different techniques.

Dickonet has taken part in numerous group exhibitions as well as film and video festivals in Burundi, Egypt, Mali, Niger, Nigeria and Togo, the United States and France.
 

She currently works for NGOs and international organizations

on documentary videos and photo reports.
